Call of Duty: MWIII - Karachi

I worked as an Environment Artist on Karachi the entire length of the map’s development. This is a remake from MW2 (2009).
My responsibilities included reworking composition, look-dev, modeling/texturing the architecture, some terrain/ground work, set dressing, performance and bug fixing. My section includes the large apartment tower with its interior and shop, center destroyed rubble pit and surrounding buildings, and the 2 story building with destroyed second story with the bicycle shop underneath.
We weren't tasked with making a 1-to-1 replica of the original, but I tried my best to keep things feeling like they used to but adding new details and architectural references where I could. I really enjoyed being able to work on buildings in the high traffic areas, along with the rubble pit. I'm a huge fan of the original game this map is from, it was one of the main reasons I went into this career, so contributing to the Karachi remake was really cool.
